Request for Proposals - Parole/Probation Administrative Office Expansion Project
Benzie County is inviting qualified architectural firms and their teams (herein referred to as Architect or Firm) to submit a bid for consideration to provide architecture, design, project management services for the purpose of designing an effective space for Parole and Probation Administrative Offices, including an area for customer waiting and storage. The current footprint may be expanded upon from its current 550 square foot footprint.
BACKGROUND: Parole and Probation is currently located within the lower level of the Governmental Center at 448 Court Place, Beulah MI. The proposed expansion would expand into existing storage space and should include four offices, communal and public space, and storage.
The goal is to provide Parole and Probation with the infrastructure to house and provide a safe space for conducting its business.
The County Administrator is the owner’s representative and project manager. To ensure consistency in this selection process, Parole and Probation staff are also part of this process.
This project may consist of two phases with an option for Benzie County to negotiate separate contractual terms with the same firm for services identified as Phase II. This is at the sole discretion of Benzie County. The following shall be considered as part of the proposal.
